Art of Paper Marbling
with Galen Berry

Galen Berry
August  20  10-4
$100.00 all materials included
CRN#: 5B
Even though marbling sounds complex you can make some beautiful papers in your first workshop. In this beginning class you will learn how to make some traditional patterns such as Feather, French curl, and Peacock. Each person will take home 10 to 15 9"x12" pieces. You can use your papers for bookbinding, picture framing, placemats, giftwrap, collages, origami. Very rewarding!

Please bring pen and paper to take notes, a large old bathtowel for cleanup (will get paint on it) Please wear old clothes.

Galen Berry went to college at the Sorbonne in Paris and graduated from UCLA in 1979. He now lives in Oklahoma. He has been a full-time marbler for over 20 years and has been teaching for 15 years. He also sells his papers in stores from coast to coast, including Art Media.
